Hold the Power and Light buttons down and push the reset button with the stylus. In bootloader mode the screen backlight does not light up, the current mode (Serial or USB) and boot loader version can be seen by shining a strong light at the screen.

[edit] Soft Reset Method

Push the reset button (located in the hole beside the USB connector) with the tip of the stylus.

[edit] Hard Reset Method

Hold the two soft keys (marked as horizontal bars on the top line of the keyboard) and press the reset button with the tip of the stylus. The phone will restart and ask if you want to continue with the reset, follow on the screen instructions to complete the hard reset.
